About The Position

Deel is a global leader in enabling workforce through innovative solutions. As we continue to scale, we are seeking a visionary and results-driven General Manager (GM) to lead and expand our HRIS and Engage business, which is accelerating into a significant revenue driver for our business over the next 12 months. As the General Manager of HRIS and Engage, you will own the business's P&L and drive its growth and execution strategy. Reporting to the COO/CEO, you will lead a cross-functional team, with additional dotted-line reporting relationships across the organization. You will spearhead the vision and strategy for the HRIS and Engage business, ensuring alignment with customer needs and leveraging domain expertise in HR.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience across operations and/or human capital management.
  • Demonstrated success hands on scaling high-growth businesses and driving P&L performance at senior leadership level.
  • Track record of leading complex, global teams in fast-paced, matrixed organizations.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complexity and prioritize effectively.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams and levels of seniority.

  • Experience in a high-growth technology company or startup environment.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and Engage solutions and adjacent industries.
  • Strong domain expertise in HR tech, particularly in HRIS or Engage, is highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on leadership and demonstrate product depth, getting involved directly in execution to drive the business forward.
  • Drive P&L performance and develop comprehensive business strategies, leveraging cross-functional leadership to foster alignment and achieve aggressive growth targets.
  • Partner with the product team to build solutions that meet customer needs, with a focus on HRIS and Engage within HR tech.
  • Lead with data, using market insights and customer feedback to guide business decisions and product evolution.
  • Provide thought leadership to the organization on HRIS and Engage trends, regulatory frameworks, and opportunities.
  • Ensure operational excellence and successful delivery of products and services, acting as a key decision-maker and advocate for the HRIS and Engage business.
