About The Position

The General Manager, Home Loans at LendingTree is responsible for leading the Home Loans vertical, with full ownership of business performance and P&L. This role is part of a broader team of General Managers supporting LendingTree’s Home and Consumer businesses. This person will operate in a highly matrixed environment, partnering closely with Marketing, Product, Technology, Analytics, Sales, and Finance to drive growth. The GM sets the strategic direction for the business, aligns cross-functional teams, and ensures a strong consumer-first approach across all initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong background in financial services; home lending experience preferred
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving key business metrics
  • Experience leading in a matrixed environment and influencing cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
  • Solid understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and key market drivers
  • 5+ years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the business strategy and full P&L for the Home Loans vertical
  • Set priorities and execute against a clear roadmap of high-impact initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally to develop product roadmaps, business cases, and go-to-market strategies
  • Leverage data to inform decisions, with a strong grasp of unit economics, lender performance, and consumer trends
  • Balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution and accountability for results
  • Manage near-term performance while building toward long-term growth goals
  • Clearly communicate business performance, priorities, and future roadmap to stakeholders
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the home lending space; build external relationships to inform strategy and drive growth
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate growth, make ROI-driven trade-offs, and take calculated risks
  • Champion a consumer-first mindset and continuously improve the customer experience
