About The Position

CulinArt Group operates over 250 onsite corporate, higher education, private school, healthcare and destination recreation/leisure dining facilities in 18 states, including cafés, coffee bars, concessions, executive dining, catering and conference dining, social catering/special events, office coffee service and vending. As the General Manager, you will be the strategic leader overseeing all aspects of daily operations for Heritage Hunt Golf & Country Club in Gainesville, VA. This position requires a dynamic leader with exceptional communication, client relationship management, and organizational skills. You will ensure operational excellence, drive team performance, and deliver outstanding food quality and customer experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive foodservice or hospitality management experience as General Manager or similar level leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale food production and catering operations.
  • Proven ability to manage financials, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own full accountability for the account’s financial performance, including budget development, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of operational functions to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for clients and guests.
  • Lead human resources functions including recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, and terminations in collaboration with HR.
  • Oversee labor scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll functions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Foster and maintain strong partnerships with clients, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to develop innovative menus and maintain exceptional food standards.
  • Execute and champion new culinary and marketing initiatives in alignment with company standards and goals.
