About The Position

The General Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the location’s overall operations and performance. This position is responsible for strategic planning and coordination across multiple departments—including parts and inventory, purchasing, accounting, production, sales, engineering, quality control, and aftersales support—to ensure efficient, compliant, and safe operations. The General Manager is accountable for maintaining adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and quality and safety standards. Additionally, this role focuses on financial management, business development, and customer satisfaction to strengthen Garsite’s reputation and profitability.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • 3+ years of experience in a production or service facility or warehouse management, including leadership roles
  • Pass a background check and drug screen
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, financial management, and team leadership
  • Intermediate/Highly proficient Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of adaptive technologies or methods as necessary
  • Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
  • Must be flexible to work extended hours on occasion to support our operations

  • Maintain accuracy and effective utilization of the location’s ERP system.
  • Lead crisis management efforts and support emergency response planning.
  • Cultivate a company culture centered on safety, high-quality service, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage customer relationships and resolve escalated service issues.
  • Direct human resources activities, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Stay current on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive dynamics.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and public forums as needed.
  • Lead initiatives to support sustainability and environmental responsibility within operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
