About the position
The General Manager at Club Pilates is responsible for driving growth and revenue at the studio, overseeing all aspects of sales, customer service, and operations. This role involves managing memberships, sales packages, and retail, while also supervising instructors and leading a sales team. The General Manager will implement marketing strategies, coordinate grassroots events, and ensure an exceptional experience for members and leads.
Responsibilities
- Drive growth and revenue at the studio, including memberships, sales packages, and retail.
- Manage the sales funnel from lead generation to closing sales.
- Set and achieve daily, monthly, and quarterly sales goals.
- Supervise and manage the sales team and instructors.
- Coordinate grassroots marketing events and community outreach.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
- Implement and enforce studio policies and procedures.
- Schedule and participate in networking and promotional events.
- Manage staff schedules and oversee hiring of instructors.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the studio.
Requirements
- 2+ years of fitness sales or relevant sales experience preferred.
- Confident in generating personal sales and supervising Sales Representatives.
- Ability to manage and drive multiple revenue streams including memberships and retail.
- Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person and over the phone.
- Solution-based and results-oriented with a competitive spirit.
- Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgement.
- Affinity and passion for fitness.
- Solid writing and grammar skills.
- Highly organized and proficient in data management.
- Professional, punctual, reliable, and organized.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information.
- Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients, and the general public.
- Proficiency with computers and studio software.
- College Degree Preferred.
