As General Manager, you will manage the day-to-day leadership and direction of the hotel, maximizing sales and revenue and driving financial returns. You'll take ownership of the development of your people, execute on brand standards, and build awareness of the hotel and brand within the local area. You will develop programs and initiatives to increase team engagement that are aligned with the hotel's service philosophy, implement and monitor team member succession planning, and establish performance and development goals for team members. Additionally, you will oversee HR related actions, drive improvement in guest satisfaction goals, and collaborate with colleagues to implement services that meet or exceed guest expectations. You will also prepare annual capital, cash flow, and sales and marketing plans, analyze financials to drive revenues, and ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and colleagues. Furthermore, you will act as a public relations representative to raise awareness of the hotel and brand in the local community and develop action plans to reduce the hotel's carbon footprint.
