The Electric Motion Solutions (EMS) division is looking for a General Manager to be responsible for all related activities within EMS's data center cooling business segment. You will report directly to EMS's Group Vice President and General Manager. You will be located in Buffalo, New York. Electric Motion Solutions (EMS) is strategically positioned for profitable growth within the rapidly expanding data center cooling market. Our differentiated pump technology delivers an energy-efficient solution—CoreMotion™—designed to power the liquid cooling segment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the data center cooling industry or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing P&L and driving business growth.
  • Strong technical knowledge of cooling systems and technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.
  • Strong leader of people and team builder, as well as an excellent communicator at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, with the ability to engage the right organizational resources to quickly and effectively resolve customer problems.
  • Financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business strategies to achieve financial targets.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote products and services.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Oversee branding, advertising, and promotional activities.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and manage supply chain strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
