This role is ideal for a detail‑obsessed operator who thrives in high‑touch environments, excels in catering management, and is savvy in both client relations and administrative oversight. This account supports two floors, with a third floor launching at the end of June, has extensive catering services, pantry and market services. The GM will also interface with a national portfolio, providing elevated visibility.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in upscale, high‑volume, or corporate dining operations
  • Proven leadership capability in small, hands‑on environments
  • Strong administrative and computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience overseeing catering programs with high client visibility

  • ServSafe certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily operations for a boutique, high‑touch corporate dining environment
  • Lead catering operations for a high volume of events, special requests, and client‑specific details
  • Manage pantry and market services with a focus on precision and guest experience
  • Ensure operational readiness for upcoming expansion to a third floor
  • Directly oversee salaried and hourly associates
  • Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate staff; promote a cohesive, service‑focused team culture
  • Support talent development and succession planning
  • Perform extensive administrative work; must be highly computer-savvy and detail-oriented
  • Manage budgets, financial reporting, labor controls, invoicing, and inventory
  • Ensure strong alignment with client financial expectations and internal standards
  • Maintain high‑touch relationships with an exacting, detail-oriented client partner
  • Serve as the point of contact for daily client needs, strategic planning, and customized requests
  • Collaborate with national portfolio stakeholders to align with broader program initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to HACCP, ServSafe standards, and all health department regulations
  • Uphold exceptional sanitation, food safety, and service quality standards
