About The Position

As the General Manager of Candlewood Suites on Ft. Riley, KS, you will oversee the daily operations of the hotel, focusing on maximizing sales and revenue while ensuring guest satisfaction. Requirements

• Five to ten years of prior hotel management experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Willingness to work varying shifts across a seven-day period, including weekends and holidays.
• Fluent in English; other languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day leadership and direction of the hotel.
• Maximize sales and revenue and drive financial returns.
• Develop programs and initiatives to increase team engagement.
• Establish performance and development goals for team members.
• Oversee HR related actions in accordance with company rules and policies.
• Drive improvement in guest satisfaction goals.
• Collaborate with colleagues to implement services that meet or exceed guest expectations.
• Prepare annual capital, cash flow, and sales and marketing plans.
• Analyze financials to drive revenues and profitability.
• Lead capital plans and asset management initiatives.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and colleagues.
• Act as a public relations representative to raise awareness of the hotel.
• Drive team member involvement in community organizations.
• Develop action plans to reduce the hotel's carbon footprint.
