About The Position

Barnes Aerospace has an exciting and challenging career opportunity for an experienced P&L Leader to lead its Warren OEM & MRO facility. We're seeking a strong General Manager to play an integral role in directing and executing the business goals and objectives for achieving profitable, sustainable growth for both divisions. Requirements

  • 8+ years of P&L experience in a manufacturing environment in aerospace.
  • Prior commercial and sales management experience necessary.
  • At least 5+ years of experience effectively leading and managing people.
  • Proven track record of implementing and executing strategies to build and sustain a high-performance work environment.
  • Solid track record of business development experiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate sales, operations, finance, logistics, and human resource disciplines to maximize site P&L performance.
  • Develop and implement performance indicators to improve efficiency and productivity of manufacturing operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership effectiveness.
  • Effective change leader; balances consistency with flexibility.
  • Impeccable integrity and superior interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Full P&L responsibility for the Warren OEM and MRO site with an approximate annual revenue of $37M and approximately 125 employees.
  • Provide leadership and direction to achieve performance and financial objectives as defined through the Company's annual profit planning process.
  • Ensure effective execution of the profitable growth strategy to increase organic revenue growth through developing new customers and expanding product offerings.
  • Maintain the highest standards of customer satisfaction, performance excellence, and achieve increased profitability and margin expansion.
  • Achieve profitable top-line revenue and market share growth through effective management and execution of MRO, services, solutions, and increased process capabilities.
  • Drive the development of and participate in reviewing and approving short- and long-term sales plans, operating objectives, and profit plans.
  • Operate as a strong team leader and team builder focused on generating results through collaboration, influence, and relationship building.
  • Build a passionate and driven management team that possesses unmatched intensity balanced with passion & professionalism.

  • Expand product offerings with existing customers and help develop new customers.
  • Achieve productivity and efficiency improvements through continuous improvement activities and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Ensure effective management of operating methods, budget spending, manpower/resource utilization, and material scheduling.
