About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead and grow our Air Compressor Energy Efficiency Division across the New England region. This role has full responsibility for sales performance, operational execution, customer satisfaction, and profitability. The General Manager will set strategy, lead teams, and drive sustainable revenue growth by delivering energy-efficient air compressor solutions to industrial clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in compressed air and energy solutions, including leadership responsibility.
  • Proven experience managing a business unit or region with full P&L accountability.
  • Strong background in B2B sales leadership and consultative, solution-based selling.
  • Solid technical understanding of air compressor systems and energy efficiency solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and deliver results.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on leadership style.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Business & Revenue Leadership: Own regional P&L performance, including revenue growth, margin management, and cost control. Establish and execute business strategies to meet and exceed financial targets.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead, coach, and hold the sales team accountable for pipeline development, close rates, and revenue goals. Support key customer engagements and strategic deals as needed.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day operations related to sales execution, project delivery, service performance, and customer satisfaction. Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
  • Strategic Growth: Identify new market opportunities, expansion strategies, and partnerships related to energy-efficient air compressor systems and services.
  • Customer Relationships: Serve as an executive-level point of contact for key accounts, ensuring long-term relationships and repeat business.
  • Product & Market Expertise: Maintain strong knowledge of air compressor systems, energy efficiency technologies, and market trends to guide business decisions and positioning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, service, and technical teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements, are delivered effectively, and support profitability.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting. Use data to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Talent Development: Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing sales and operational talent. Provide coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Process Improvement: Establish scalable processes for sales execution, customer engagement, and operational excellence.
