About The Position

Provides administrative leadership and management for the Palestine Assembly facility. Administrative functions include Accounting, Payroll, Human Resources, supervising administrative staff, and supporting operations, quality and IT teams. Ensures facility has office equipment and supplies required to perform day-to-day duties and operations. Works with providers that provide contract services to the facility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5 years of experience in vendor management, safety, or office/plant administration.
  • Solid understanding of AP, AR, and month-end close activities.
  • Solid understanding of HR functions and best safety practices.
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Performs accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of AP & AR transactions.
  • Reviews accounting data and entries related to facility operations and assists with the month-end close process.
  • Ensures proper accounting controls are in place throughout the plant.
  • Works with providers that provide contract services to the facility, such as grounds maintenance, custodial services, and office equipment leasing.
  • Ensures payroll data for facility is inputted accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensures facility is compliant with HR policies and practices.
  • Actively engages in team meetings, and provides timely feedback to team regarding work topics.
  • Understands organizational mesh points and potential synergies.
  • Integrates team efforts across work team.
  • Understands available resources, and utilizes those resources when appropriate.
  • Acts with integrity.
