About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 6 for New Mexico State University located in Las Cruces, NM. This GM6 will oversee Resident Dining, Conference and Catering, Retail and Concessions. Our best qualified General Manager will have previous Higher Ed Food Service Operations Management experience and excellent client relations skills. Sodexo provides college campuses with food, nutrition, environmental, and facilities management solutions. Requirements

  • Have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills
  • Previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance
  • Can manage multiple priorities and demonstrate professional communication skills
  • Passion for a high level of customer service
  • Prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) The Market Connection (TMC)
  • Proficient in computer skills and report management experience
