This is an exciting opportunity for a proven hospitality leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, client-facing environment and has a strong passion for catering and special events . About the Account The food program features a modern café, coffee bar, and robust catering operation , serving both daily dining needs and large-scale events. Catering is a significant driver of the business, representing with a blend of 60% day-to-day catering services and 40% special events , including a signature large end-of-year holiday event . Incentives Predominately a M-F 6am to 4pm with some evenings, very rare weekends What You'll Do The Role As the #1 leader on site , the General Manager 4 will have full operational responsibility and serve as the primary liaison to the client. This highly visible role offers the opportunity to showcase innovation, elevate the guest experience, and lead a talented culinary and management team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading catering-heavy operations (required)
  • Strong background in corporate dining, hospitality, or high-end foodservice environments
  • Confident client-facing leader with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Financially savvy with experience managing budgets and forecasting
  • Hands-on leadership style with a passion for developing people and teams
  • Organized, adaptable, and energized by special events and showcase environments
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience – 5 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for day-to-day foodservice and catering operations
  • Build and maintain a strong, trusted client relationship at a high-profile site
  • Own full financial/budget management, ensuring financial targets are met
  • Lead, coach, and develop a management team of 3 salaried leaders
  • Oversee and engage a team of 8 hourly employees , fostering a positive and performance-driven culture
  • Drive exceptional catering execution, from daily meetings to high-impact special events
  • Ensure compliance with Sodexo standards, food safety, and quality expectations
