Grow your career and develop a team that shares your desire to make a difference. Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 3 of Environmental Services at UNC Nash Hospital in Rocky Mount, NC. Nash UNC Hospital is a 300 bed hospital about one hour from Raleigh, that includes some off-site buildings. We are looking for an experienced Director of Environmental Services to enforce regulations. Skill set will include great customer service to include patients, nursing, and employees. Experience with patient satisfaction and Joint Commission is a plus. This role will oversee a team of 80, comprised of 5 sites. Conveniently located off of I-95, this position will oversee the entire operation for EVS including linen distribution. The successful candidate will have experience in healthcare EVS. This role will oversee a team of 40 supporting two sites at this facility, which is a non-union environment. Overall, will be responsible for driving client satisfaction by providing stellar customer service via effective communication with all levels of hospital staff, as well as follow-through with action items that impact both client and patient satisfaction. Requirements

  • leaders who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service and the technical execution of a housekeeping system
  • are an expert in building and maintain strong customer / client relationships
  • possess strong leadership skills and can work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion
  • have 5+ years previous custodial or housekeeping director level experience preferably in a hospital environment
  • can analyze data, present and effectively communicate to all levels within the organization related to training, leading committees and change management
  • are proficient with computers and other technology
  • have strong financial acumen and budget management experience
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience – 5 yearsMinimum Functional Experience – 5 years

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with patient satisfaction and Joint Commission is a plus.
