About The Position

Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a General Manager to oversee a dynamic food service operation at Markel in Glen Allen, VA. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a newly opened café and coffee bistro, a conference dining center serving high-level corporate clients, and a dedicated team of 7 staff members, including an Executive Chef.

Responsibilities

• Full financial oversight of food and labor costs
• Forecasting and planning to meet operational goals
• Menu development and costing in collaboration with culinary leadership
• Catering management for daily service and special events
• Ensuring HACCP compliance and food safety standards
• Providing constructive feedback and mentorship to team members
• Building strong client relationships and managing day-to-day operations
