About The Position

The position involves leading a team of delivery drivers and customer service representatives (CSRs) to ensure that orders are expedited quickly and accurately. Responsibilities include managing end-of-night bank deposits, conducting nightly product inventory counts, and ensuring the store is properly set up for opening. The role requires fostering a sense of urgency with each order and ensuring compliance with Domino’s Operation Evaluation Review standards. Additionally, the position oversees total store operations and involves communication with other managers and staff regarding business operations.

Requirements

  • Experience in a leadership role within a retail or food service environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage financial transactions and understand P&L ledgers.
  • Experience in customer service and dispute resolution.
  • Ability to train and develop team members.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of delivery drivers and CSRs to ensure quick and correct order fulfillment.
  • Responsible for end-of-night bank deposits when closing.
  • Conduct nightly product inventory counts when closing.
  • Ensure the store is set up properly and ready to receive orders at opening time.
  • Foster and project a sense of urgency with each order.
  • Ensure the store operates according to Domino’s Operation Evaluation Review standards.
  • Oversee total store operations.
  • Communicate with other managers and staff regarding business operations.
  • Calculate product and ingredient needs for bi-weekly commissary and beverage delivery.
  • Train the GMIT on all aspects of store operations.
  • Maintain staffing levels that meet business needs throughout the day.
  • Create and maintain employee schedules based on labor needs.
  • Collect money and signed credit card receipts from delivery drivers at the end of their shifts.
  • Handle dispute resolution to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure delivery vehicles pass inspection, both mechanically and visually.
  • Assist with routing delivery drivers to maximize service while maintaining delivery standards.
  • Read and understand P&L ledgers.
  • Uphold Domino’s standards of grooming, uniform, and appearance.
  • Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions.
  • Receive cross-training for various store operations including product preparation and delivery procedures.
  • Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers both over the phone and in person.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, and use a computer-based order entry system.
  • Contribute to and promote an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun.
