The General Manager must demonstrate motor coordination for precise movements and the ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Effective communication with customers and co-workers is essential for processing orders both over the phone and in person. Additionally, the role involves delivering products by car to customers' doors and distributing flyers and door hangers. Navigational skills are necessary to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and the General Manager must navigate various terrains while carrying products. Leadership skills are crucial, as the individual must lead by example and coach/train new employees.
