About The Position

The General Manager is responsible for operating all equipment and managing the workflow in the facility. This includes stocking ingredients from the delivery area to storage, preparing products, and receiving and processing telephone orders. The role also involves taking inventory, completing associated paperwork, and ensuring the cleanliness of equipment and the facility on a daily basis. The General Manager must demonstrate strong leadership skills by leading by example and coaching or training new employees.

Requirements

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly.
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Strong verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements with speed.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
  • Deliver product by car to the customer's door.
  • Deliver flyers and door hangers.
  • Navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings and private homes while carrying product.
