The General Manager must demonstrate motor coordination for precise movements and the ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and co-workers, both over the phone and in person. Additionally, the role involves delivering products by car to customers' doors and distributing flyers and door hangers. Navigational skills are necessary to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, as well as the ability to navigate adverse terrain while carrying products. Leadership skills are crucial for coaching and training new employees.
