The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation of all equipment, stocking ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler. The role includes preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and completing associated paperwork. Daily cleaning of equipment and the facility is also required. The position demands strong mathematical skills for accurate monetary transactions and effective verbal, writing, and telephone skills for processing orders. The General Manager must also deliver products by car to customers' doors and distribute flyers and door hangers. Navigational skills are essential for locating addresses within the designated delivery area, and the ability to navigate adverse terrain while carrying products is necessary. Additionally, the General Manager must lead by example and coach/train new employees.
