About The Position

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the operation of all equipment, stocking ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler. The role includes preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and completing associated paperwork. Daily cleaning of equipment and the facility is also required. The position demands strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations and the ability to make correct monetary change. Effective verbal, writing, and telephone skills are essential for processing orders. The General Manager must demonstrate motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately, as well as the ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Communication skills are vital for interacting with customers and co-workers, both over the phone and in person. Additionally, the role involves delivering products by car to customers' doors and distributing flyers and door hangers. Navigational skills are necessary to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and the ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying products is required. The General Manager must also lead by example and coach/train new employees.
