The position involves operating all necessary equipment and managing the stock of ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers. The employee will prepare products, receive and process telephone orders, and take inventory while completing associated paperwork. Daily cleaning of equipment and the facility is also required. The role demands a quick and accurate ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, with the potential use of a calculator. The employee must be able to make correct monetary change and possess verbal, writing, and telephone skills to effectively take and process orders. Motor coordination is essential for making precise movements quickly and accurately, as well as the ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Comprehension and the ability to provide correct written instructions are necessary, along with effective communication skills to interact with customers and co-workers for processing orders both over the phone and in person. Additionally, the role includes delivering products by car to customers' doors and distributing flyers and door hangers. Navigational skills are required to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and the employee must be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying products.
