The position involves operating all necessary equipment and stocking ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler. The employee will prepare products, receive and process telephone orders, take inventory, and complete associated paperwork. Daily cleaning of equipment and the facility is also required. The role demands strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations and the ability to make correct monetary change. Verbal, writing, and telephone skills are essential for taking and processing orders. Additionally, the position requires motor coordination to make precise movements quickly and accurately, as well as the ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Effective communication with customers and co-workers is necessary for processing orders both over the phone and in person. The employee will also be responsible for delivering products by car to customers' doors and distributing flyers and door hangers. Navigational skills are important for reading maps and locating addresses within the designated delivery area, as well as navigating adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying products.
