The position involves the operation of all equipment, stocking and rotating ingredients from delivery to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler. Responsibilities include preparing products, receiving and processing telephone and internet orders, counting inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. On-the-job training will cover customer service orientation, an interactive computer program, and hands-on practice. Customer service skills are essential, requiring the ability to comprehend and communicate verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers over the phone and in person. Pizza delivery skills are also necessary, including the ability to safely drive one's own vehicle, navigate roads and maps, and manage adverse terrain and stairs while carrying products. Essential skills include the ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately to make correct monetary change, with the option to use a calculator.
