About The Position
As a General Management Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will play a crucial role in supporting defense acquisition and sustainment commands with life cycle logistics planning and execution. This position requires a foundational understanding of basic principles, theories, and concepts, utilizing limited industry knowledge to solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity. You will work under direct supervision, ensuring that you adhere to project plans and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Your ability to interact and network with all levels of staff, including senior leadership, will be essential in fostering effective communication and collaboration within the team. In this role, you will be expected to conduct analytical work, which may include risk analysis, financial modeling, operations analysis, lean and six sigma analysis, or gap analysis. You will also be responsible for utilizing Microsoft Office tools to support your analyses and presentations. The position requires a proactive approach to escalate conflicts and concerns to the management team, ensuring that all project-related issues are addressed promptly. Additionally, you will need to obtain a security clearance, which is a prerequisite for working on projects related to the Department of Defense.
