About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General/Mammo Technologist to join our healthcare team. Iowa Radiology is a patient-centered practice that promotes a more compassionate approach to medicine. Requirements

ARRT certification and a current Iowa permit to practice in general radiography is required.
Excellent patient care and communication skills are essential
Some lifting is involved with this position.

Nice To Haves

ARRT certification in mammography is a plus.
Mammography experience preferred, but not required (training available)

Responsibilities

Producing mammography screenings and diagnostic exams following established protocols and guidelines.
Utilizing general x-ray, bone densitometry and mammography modalities to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to accurately communicate imaging findings.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in mammography technology and techniques to provide optimal services to patients.
Following established protocols for infection control and patient safety during all procedures.
