About The Position

The General Maintenance position at Medical City Weatherford involves performing a variety of duties inside and outside the hospital complex, including maintenance of fire alarm systems, emergency generators, telephone systems, electrical systems, plumbing, painting, drywall repair, millwork repair, ceiling tile replacement, door alignment and hardware repair, minor flooring repair, HVAC repairs, and preventative maintenance assignments. The role requires participation in an on-call rotation and responding to 'Code White' announcements as needed.

Requirements

• Current driver's license and clear driving record.
• 3 years of experience in healthcare mechanical/electrical plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on fire alarm and related components.
• Maintain emergency generators and telephone systems.
• Handle electrical systems, both normal and emergency.
• Conduct plumbing repairs and painting/drywall repairs.
• Repair millwork and replace ceiling tiles.
• Align doors and repair hardware.
• Perform minor flooring repairs and various HVAC repairs.
• Complete preventative maintenance assignments.
• Respond to 'Code White' announcements and reports of escalating behavior.
