General Maintenance
About The Position
The General Maintenance completes assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs. Compensation: $23.06. The pay listed is the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- No experience required and on the job training provided
- No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Nice To Haves
- 1 to 3 year of similar work experience and or trade school.
- Strong customer service orientation, and organizational/analytical skills.
- Ability to work extended periods of time without relief, when responding to priorities/emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with our clients, engineering leadership, and vendors to keep the building operational.
- Perform ongoing facility maintenance and complete repairs on various equipment.
- Perform minor repairs to Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP’s) equipment.
- Ensure client satisfaction.
- Proficient in Basic General Maintenance Duties
- Solid knowledge and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools and other materials required to perform repair and maintenance tasks.
- Complete assigned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs.
- Use the CMMS program in support of work performance. Foster a work environment that promotes energy conservation and continuous improvement of engineering functions.
- Perform basic routine MEP repairs
- Assist with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall, and wood trim repair
- Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
- Assists in emergencies as needed.
- Returns all work areas to a clean, neat, orderly, and safe condition.
