About The Position
Westminster Village, an affordable housing retirement community in Pensacola, Florida is seeking to hire a full time General Maintenance position. Normal work hours are Monday through Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm. This position has a rotating on-call schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
- Perform basic functions that are mechanically inclined with hand tools and power tools.
- Change light bulbs, A/C filters, ceiling tiles, etc.
- Install sinks, toilets, countertops, etc.
- Take temperature readings on boilers and water heaters. Test generator and other equipment and pumps.
- Repair minor leaks in plumbing in less than 1" diameter pipe.
- Assist with replacement of kitchen/bathroom cabinets and counter tops.
- Assist as needed with major projects.
