About The Position

A General Maintenance will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas. Guest room and public area preventative maintenance are included. A General Maintenance Engineer will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills. This role will be responsible for guest calls and preventative maintenance of the room and public areas. Requirements
- Technical Experience in a related field or trade (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC/Refrigeration, Paint & Wallcovering)
- Excellent customer service experience
- Good communication skills (Guests, Clients & Hotel Staff)
- Ability to follow safety and security policies and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of previous hotel experience preferred
