About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and skilled General Handyman to provide part-time, as-needed maintenance support across multiple medical clinic locations. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who can respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and help ensure our facilities remain safe, clean, and fully operational for patients and staff.
Work hours will vary based on clinic needs and may include occasional evenings or weekends for urgent repairs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or similar role
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
• Ability to travel between clinic locations (valid driver’s license required)
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Professional demeanor appropriate for a patient-care environment

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in healthcare or medical facilities
• Familiarity with OSHA and general safety compliance standards

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work across multiple clinic locations
• Interior and exterior painting, patching, and surface preparation
• Minor plumbing repairs (faucets, toilets, leak repairs, etc.)
• Basic electrical repairs (light fixtures, switches, outlets)
• Drywall repair and finishing
• Door, lock, and hardware repair/replacement
• Furniture assembly and installation
• Routine preventative maintenance tasks
• Troubleshoot facility-related issues and complete timely repairs
• Coordinate with clinic management regarding larger repair needs
• Maintain basic documentation of completed work
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and healthcare regulations
