This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets associated with pork processing while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Troubleshoot facility and equipment problems that occur in the day-to-day operations. Perform work that involves hydraulics, electrical, plumbing, conveyor maintenance, 3-phase wiring, AC/CD control wiring, welding, and pneumatic systems. Set up, adjust, and break down production machinery. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance duties. Complete daily reports and paperwork. Work environments are wet and humid. Temperatures range from 35 to 90+ degrees. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Work includes climbing ladders, working from elevated platforms, standing, and walking on hard floors and occasional lift of 60 lbs. All shifts include Sunday work and overtime as scheduled.
