Position Overview: Under the direction of the Property Manager, oversees the basic maintenance, grounds keeping and cleanliness of the 567 Morris Avenue building and identified sites. Individual should be self-motived and be able to work independently to complete all orders as assigned.

Requirements

Must Have a Valid Driver's License
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Valid driver’s license required with no more than one moving violation within the past 12 months
Vehicle required
Excellent van driving skills
Work early morning and evening hours as needed
Change schedule to meet the needs of the program
Upbeat, Professional attitude, and a willingness to learn
Good verbal skills
Strong attention to detail
Good organizational and problem-solving ability
Must demonstrate a high level of initiative and ability to work autonomously
Lift 50 lbs
Operate a personal computer and successfully navigate in order to access e-mail, electronic calendars and other basic office support software as well as web based programs such as essential learning

Nice To Haves

Maintenance & cleaning experience a plus.
Grounds Keeping and general maintenance service experience preferred

Responsibilities

Create and maintain a wellness and recovery-oriented environment by using respectful, person-first language, documentation, and interactions.

Maintain a culture of compliance with internal and external policies, regulations, laws and high ethical standards.
Light carpentry, light plumbing, light electrical, able to work on ladders change light bulbs.
Change ceiling tiles
Paint sheetrock and spackling
Assists in any snow removal and salting as needed
Strip and wax floors
Steam cleaning carpets as needed or willing to learn
Fill out paper work in a timely manner
Help with any cleaning as needed
Inspect all condos every three months and submit all paper work on time.
Help Maintain all Bridgeway property's and leased property's as directed. Bring any needed repairs to the attention of the property Manager.
Maintains supplies inventory o Maintains equipment and vehicles to maximize safety and longevity
Performs other duties as required
Relates well to people of all ages, races and socio-economic backgrounds and disability groups
Presents and fosters a trusting professional relationship with all persons encountered on a daily basis
Contacts the Property Manager as appropriate in order to trouble shoot facility issues
