About The Position

Complete Building Services (CBS) is a company that is passionate about the operation and maintenance of buildings/facilities in the commercial and government sectors. CBS is the largest division of The Donohoe Companies, Inc. - Washington DC's most established real estate company. We are hiring a temporary Culpeper, Va. This is a temporary position Mon-Fri 1600 to 2400, expected to be 6-8 weeks.

Requirements

• 3 years of building maintenance experience.
• Experience in carpentry, light electrical, light plumbing, painting, and mechanical building systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge in trades such as HVAC, plumbing, general mechanical work, painting, carpentry, and general labor.
• Replace belts, motors, and filters.
• Use plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.
• Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
• Paint structures and equipment.
• Repair or replace concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.
• Replace damaged paneling and floor tiles.
• Hang doors and install door locks.
• Perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Conduct daily tours and log various equipment readouts.
• Assist other staff (Chief Engineer, Electrician, Engineer, and Waterworks Operator) with their duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
