General Maintenance Worker-Electrician

About The Position

Kaiyuh Services, LLC is seeking a full-time General Maintenance Worker-Electrician to join our team. This position performs preventive maintenance procedures on the water treatment equipment for the Yuma Desalting Plant.

Requirements

High School Degree or equivalent
Electrical knowledge and the ability to stand by while electricians are working on high and low voltage circuits preferred
Valid Arizona Driver's License
Excellent customer service skills, including verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Good planning and organizational skills
Basic analytical and creative problem-solving skills
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Promptness and timeliness in completing assigned tasks
Ability to pass a background and drug screening
Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity

Responsibilities

Performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work
Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors
Using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings
Repairs may include replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets
Painting structures and equipment
Repairing or replacing concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks
Replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles, hanging doors, and installing door locks, replacing broken windowpanes, and performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery
Perform simple maintenance duties not requiring practical skill and knowledge of a trade (e.g., changing light bulbs and replacing faucet washers)
Housekeeping responsibilities throughout the Yuma Desalting Plant
Perform incidental tasks related to the position as well as various duties, as assigned, to support the overall objectives/goals of the team while maintaining a positive attitude
