We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Maintenance Technician 1 to join our team. In this high-impact role, you will support all facets of the Engineering Department for Arena Operations, while playing a key role in broader department initiatives.

Basic familiarity with hand and power tools
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs and perform hands-on labor
Comfort working at heights (ladders) and in confined spaces
High school diploma or equivalent required
1-3 Yrs Experience with General Maintenance and Repair. Preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with routine maintenance tasks including assisting various departmental trades, light repairs, and general property upkeep
Perform minor repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and various trades, as needed.
Assisting with painting, as needed, minor surface repairs with a neat, professional finish
Perform basic carpentry work including shelving installation, wood repairs, and furniture assembly
Assist with minor plumbing repairs such as leak fixes, drain unclogging, and faucet replacement
Support basic electrical tasks such as replacing light bulbs and troubleshooting minor issues (under supervision)
Complete minor flooring repairs
Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools
Support senior technicians on more complex repairs and special projects
Assist with event setups, installations, and coverage.
Communicate professionally with team members and vendors, if applicable to daily workflow.
Report maintenance concerns and safety issues promptly
Follow all safety guidelines and maintain clean, organized work areas
