Meyer Distributing is looking for a General Maintenance Technician to join our Arlington team - we are hiring immediately! Meyer Distributing is a leader in automotive specialty products marketing and warehouse distribution. The General Maintenance Technician assists in building maintenance of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and grounds. This includes general maintenance, upkeep, repairs and improvement of the building.

Requirements

Requires a valid driver's license
Ability to give special attention to detail
Must have ability to recognize letters and numbers
Must have strong verbal communication skills
Must be able to lift 75 pounds
Must be available for occasional out of town travel
Minimum one month on the job training required

Nice To Haves

Previous warehouse maintenance or building maintenance experience preferred

Responsibilities

Make repairs and changes to configurations in the warehouse, includes: painting, moving furniture, drywall, basic plumbing, basic electrical, etc.
Install and repair wifi thermostats
Perform physical inspections and preventative maintenance
Perform ac repair work and all other maintenance related repairs
All other duties as assigned
