About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician to join a fast-paced commercial and industrial facilities team in [Maumelle, AR]. In this role, you'll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and complete repairs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of facility systems. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional technical or trade school training preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in facility or industrial maintenance, with strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts safely.
  • Working knowledge of building automation systems and maintenance software.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, email, and CMMS software).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain fork truck and JLG operator certifications.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including weekends or on-call rotations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance (PMs), inspections, and repairs on commercial and industrial facility systems and equipment.
  • Conduct regular shift rounds to assess equipment performance and identify potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot and repair systems including: HVAC equipment, fire life safety, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Transformers, motors, MCC panels, VFDs, dock equipment, and lighting systems.
  • Rebuild or repair pumps, valves, and mechanical/electrical components as needed.
  • Maintain documentation of maintenance activities using the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Manage parts ordering, vendor coordination, and purchase order creation.
  • Participate in project meetings and support sub-contractors as needed.
  • Ensure full compliance with OSHA, lock-out/tag-out, and site safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers to ensure clear understanding of work scope and completion timelines.
