About The Position

Repairs and maintains the healthcare system's facilities, systems, and equipment. Essential Responsibilities: Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position. Receive and complete work order requests for facilities maintenance. Ensures work is performed in a timely manner and triage requests to prioritize the most critical repairs. Inspect and perform preventative maintenance or as-needed repairs on facilities or systems, which may include mechanical or electrical systems, HVAC or other environmental management systems, generators or power management systems, or fire or safety systems. Make basic repairs and coordinate the work of specialists when more complex repairs are needed. Schedule maintenance or repairs to minimize disruptions to organizational operations wherever possible. Provide assistance in responding to fire alarms and other codes. Act in accordance with the established mission, vision, and values. Abide by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI). Maintain effective communication and professional working relationships with patients/clients and their representatives, team members, contractors, physicians, peers, outside agencies, and the public.
