About The Position

Are you a "Jack of all Trades"? We are looking for a reliable General Maintenance Technician I to handle a variety of construction and repair tasks. You’ll be the heartbeat of our facility, ensuring everything from the sinks to the light fixtures stays in peak condition while providing top-tier service to our team and customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year in a maintenance role or a technical school certificate.
• Practical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs.
• You must be able to climb ladders, kneel, crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Professional and tactful when interacting with co-workers and clients.
• Availability: While the schedule is routine, you must be willing to share on-call duty for emergencies and work occasional OT to get the job done!
• Safety Aware: You may be exposed to moderate noise or infectious waste (standard safety protocols like OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens standards apply).

Responsibilities

• Electrical & Lighting: Swap out ballasts, lamps, switches, and receptacles. Help reset tripped breakers to keep the lights on!
• Plumbing: Tackle minor repairs for toilets, urinals, sinks, and faucets.
• HVAC Care: Assist with preventive maintenance (PM) by changing filters, checking belts, and keeping systems running smoothly.
• Carpentry & Painting: Handle basic building repairs, including fixing doors, windows, and walls. Ability to prep and paint like a pro!
• Work Orders: Receive and complete tasks while keeping sharp records of your time and materials used.
• Safety First: Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and wear your PPE. Spot potential hazards before they become problems!
• Fleet Management: Keep the company vehicle fueled, clean, and inspected monthly.
• Teamwork: Work independently or with the crew, and occasionally escort vendors or inspectors through the building.
