About The Position

The position involves maintaining fuel equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and maintaining gasoline dispensers and related equipment. The role includes providing preventive maintenance and testing of fuel systems, maintaining gas dispensers by changing nozzles, hoses, splashguards, filters, electronic circuit boards, and displays. Additionally, the position requires maintaining and repairing HVAC and refrigeration equipment, performing preventive maintenance service on equipment, and ensuring that equipment, systems, and buildings are ready for use by repairing various items inside and outside of the stores. The role also involves maintaining Point of Sale equipment, Frame Relay equipment, and safes by troubleshooting, repairing, and reprogramming equipment. Compliance with regulatory agencies regarding fueling equipment is necessary, as well as maintaining a safe and clean work environment by adhering to Circle K and OSHA procedures. The position requires collaboration with Circle K Supervisors to facilitate repairs with outsourced vendors and documenting actions, irregularities, and continuing needs to maintain continuity among work teams. Participation in training for existing and new equipment is required, and contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks is expected. Ensuring a safe working environment for employees and customers is a key responsibility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 3-5 years' experience in maintenance and/or telecommunications field is preferred.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Requires manual dexterity to operate equipment.
• Requires ability to use power and hand tools.
• Must possess necessary basic hand tools.
• Possess valid drivers' license and be insurable as a driver.
• Requires to share in after-hours on-call service functions.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently in high priority, confidential and demanding business environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fuel equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning and maintaining gasoline dispensers and related equipment.
• Provides preventive maintenance and testing of the fuel system(s).
• Maintains gas dispensers by changing nozzles, hoses, splashguards, filters, electronic circuit boards, and displays.
• Maintains and repairs HVAC and refrigeration equipment, performs preventive maintenance service on equipment.
• Keeps equipment, systems and building ready for use by repairing equipment, doors, plumbing, floor tiles, painting, food service equipment, and other items inside and outside of the stores.
• Maintains Point of Sale equipment, Frame Relay equipment, and safes by troubleshooting, repairing, and reprogramming equipment.
• Works with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance of fueling equipment.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with Circle K and OSHA procedures, rules and regulations.
• Works with Circle K Supervisors to facilitate repairs with outsourced vendors.
• Facilitates repairs by contacting service vendors for materials and parts.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
• Participates in training for existing and new equipment.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Ensures a safe working environment exists for employees and customers.
