About The Position

As a Maintenance Technician you will provide excellent service to our residents and will help keep the apartment community running smoothly! The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical systems, plumbing repairs, the ability to troubleshoot and repair various appliances, as well as the skills to prepare apartments for new resident move ins. Requirements

• Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a multi-family or residential setting
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Tools and reliable transportation. We can assist with tools purchase if needed.
• Ability to lift heavy items such as appliances
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance in residents’ apartments
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues
• Complete work orders efficiently while providing excellent customer service
• Perform unit turnovers / make-readies
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests and completed work
• Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency
• Grounds maintenance duties may also be required depending upon the needs of the community
