Requirements

  • Significant specialized experience (6-10 years' experience in same or related field).
  • Associate degree or two-year equivalent specialized training or experience required.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
  • Certifications/licenses in relevant field; equivalent training will be considered.
  • Work requires regular lifting of objects up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the 'First-Responder' to hotel rooms and public areas, guest calls, HVAC filter changes, Plumbing, Electrical, and preventative maintenance work.
  • Perform general and preventative maintenance in hotel rooms, offices, common areas, locker rooms, spa and pool areas, gyms and any other area deemed necessary.
  • Scope of maintenance includes carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, mechanical, fire/life safety, pool/water chemistry, tile/vinyl work and associated building trades.
  • Assist in reconfigurations of furniture, gym equipment, medical equipment, etc.
  • Perform routine, ongoing preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and repairs, accurately and timely.
  • Respond to service calls, guests and staff requests and perform minor repairs and other assigned project work.
  • Refer guest issues or complaints to supervisor according to Canyon Ranch policy.
  • Oversee completion of maintenance projects with daily reports to the supervisor.
  • Provide training for new staff.
  • Maintain a neat work space and storage area for parts and keep an accurate inventory of parts.
  • Document, file, and keep records organized for management follow-up or review.
