About The Position

The General Maintenance position at Sage Lodge involves maintaining the building's physical appearance and working order, including assistance with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The role requires ensuring the security, cleanliness, preventative maintenance, and repair of all engineering department tools, equipment, and safety features in accordance with established procedures and budgets. The position also entails keeping maintenance and engineering storerooms and work areas clean and orderly, completing delegated work orders in a timely and professional manner, and reporting unsafe conditions immediately.

Requirements

• Must be able to complete all types of work orders generated for engineering.
• General understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience in building maintenance preferred.
• Ability to effectively perform painting, woodworking, and general carpentry.
• Ability to perform maintenance and general repair.
• Knowledge and ability to operate tools, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout a workday.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must be flexible and able to perform multiple tasks and work in stressful situations.

• Ensure security, cleanliness, preventative maintenance, and repair of engineering tools and equipment.
• Keep maintenance and engineering storerooms and work areas clean and orderly.
• Complete delegated work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Report and address unsafe conditions immediately.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
