This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems across a range of equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work at heights for extended periods
- Must be a U.S. Person in accordance with ITAR regulations and site SSA requirements
Nice To Haves
- Experience in HVAC systems, electrical maintenance, welding, and pipe fitting
- Proficiency in CMMS software for maintenance tracking and reporting
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production equipment
- Interpret technical diagrams, schematics, manuals, and specifications to guide maintenance activities
- Modify or design mechanical systems and recommend production methods
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and construction of industrial machinery
- Execute facility maintenance tasks including welding, HVAC, cabinet fabrication, and general repairs
- Ensure all work complies with operational tolerances and applicable codes
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document and manage maintenance tasks
- Operate independently while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency
- Respond to emergency maintenance needs and perform other duties as assigned
