We are seeking a skilled and dependable General Maintenance Lead to join our team.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of recent experience as a General Maintenance Worker
  • High School diploma/GED preferred
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have a current U.S. Passport or Real ID
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs. unassisted
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical

Responsibilities

  • Perform repair and maintenance of facilities and equipment requiring practical skill and working knowledge in multiple trades including painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work
  • Serve as a working lead by providing technical guidance and task coordination to maintenance personnel without exercising supervisory authority
  • Assist with daily work planning and task prioritization as directed by supervision
  • Perform minor electrical repairs including replacement of receptacles, wiring, bulbs, ballasts, switches, fixtures, and motors
  • Patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings using plaster, compound, or similar materials
  • Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, toilets, and related plumbing fixtures
  • Paint buildings, structures, and equipment as required
  • Repair or replace concrete floors, steps, sidewalks, damaged paneling, and floor tiles
  • Hang doors and install or repair door hardware and locking mechanisms
  • Perform preventive maintenance on exhaust fans, emergency lighting, HVAC-related equipment, pumps, water coolers, and facility operating equipment
  • Conduct general maintenance on facility infrastructure and equipment to support safe and reliable operations
  • Crawl under structures and work on rooftops or elevated areas as required to complete repairs
  • Review completed work for quality and completeness prior to turnover to supervision or quality staff
  • Assist with documentation of completed maintenance activities including work orders and preventive maintenance records
  • Support training and mentoring of new or less-experienced maintenance personnel through hands-on guidance
  • Identify maintenance deficiencies, safety concerns, or material needs and report them to supervision
  • Perform other related maintenance duties as assigned
