This position is primarily responsible for maintaining the manufacturing and facilities equipment and property in a fully functional state. Operator follows written and verbal specifications by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Completion of PM Program for the building and production equipment. Completion of Daily Work Orders according to the priority standards. Drive company vehicle to make pick-ups of needed parts for the Maintenance Dept. Have the ability to be on call after hours for emergency needs. Maintains a neat, clean, orderly and safe working area at all times. Additional duties as assigned. Accountability: Works proficiently and accurately to control costs while maintaining high quality standards. Must have a valid Wisconsin Driver’s license with safe driving record and maintain insurance. Must have a well-rounded background in; Building/Machinery Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry and HAVC Must be safety conscious, with an excellent safety record. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job as well as training and personal experience. Works independently and without direct supervision. Primary job functions require exercising independent judgment frequently.
