About The Position

The General Maintenance Technician II w/ Certification/License primary responsibility includes performing HVAC repairs/preventative maintenance on equipment. Other duties include repair and installation of plumbing fixtures; inspection/testing, repair and/or replacement of electrical power equipment; and running of emergency power generator to ensure proper operation. The Technician also performs general maintenance duties in and around the buildings of the hospital complex.

Requirements

• Graduate of a commercial technical school or comparable experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or Boiler Plant Operation.
• Must possess one of the following State of Texas issued licenses: HVAC license, Journeyman's Electricians License, Plumbing license, Boiler certification, or Plant Operator certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or Boiler Plant Operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.
