About The Position
PRIMARY PURPOSE / FUNCTION: To facilitate and enhance the accomplishment of the instructional program by providing specialized support services. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Possess knowledge of school plant maintenance and repair of building structures and their mechanical, electrical systems throughout the district.
Requirements
- Special Knowledge/Skills: Technical knowledge preferred
- Technical knowledge required for certain positions
- Knowledge of the basic principals of school plant and maintenance operations
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Calm and patient demeanor with students and others
- Certification of specialized skills in one or more areas of maintenance
- Specialized training in one or more areas of maintenance
- Experience: Minimum of two years work experience in the area of building maintenance all phases
- Meet minimum physical requirements
